Johanna Burai is an independent graphic designer and art director based in Stockholm and Paris. Her practice spans a wide range of media, from printed matter and visual identities to digital design, and illustration. Working at the intersection of art and design, she develops concept-led work where ideas and meaning form the foundation of each project.

Her studio most frequently operates within the fields of contemporary art, music, and fashion, and a central part of her practice is collaboration with other artists and designers on both commercial and self-initiated projects. Alongside her studio work, she lectures at Beckmans College of Design and Berghs School of Communication, and regularly gives talks and workshops within and beyond the art and design community.
